Monday 1: Meet and Greet 2018 by joining a Starston tradition (almost unique to Starston).

New Years Day 12.00 Midday church bells, 12.30 meet in church to greet 2018 with friends, neighbours and strangers.  No service, informal meet with hot and cold refreshments and drinks, including mulled wine. Demonstration of bell ringing, have a go if you wish. Bring the littlies.  Free

Tuesday 2: Meditation will not take place this month - we look forward to restarting in February.

Thursday 11: 7.30pm Lyfe Group at The Cottage. An informal evening: ‘How can I be filled with the Spirit?’   Open to all.  Light refreshments. More details from Mags (01379 741999).

Lynn (priest) and Tony Fry (John Adlam worked with him at Blooms) are working in Papua New Guinea in very remote, basic conditions, without pay. The Rev’d Phil Charlesworth (John trained with him) is giving a 45 min. presentation on the work there to give us a better understanding of the Bishop’s Lent Appeal – their church building needs to be doubled in size and the Fry’s need periodic retreat breaks
